New Ride.
We sold my vehicle (the awesome not so cool Aztek) about a month ago and have been surviving on one car (the Crossfire aka The Bat Mobile as my sis calls it). Which hasn't been too bad except for the minor detail that it only has two seats and a rather small trunk. Yep, that made for one fun trip to the cabin with us and the dogs! Don't get me wrong I have grown pretty fond of the car as it's rather fun to drive and you can fit in any parking spot. It has also been saving us some money because I can't fit too many shopping bags in it. But, we did need another vehicle that we could at least haul some normal sized items (like the shelf from IKEA that I've been waiting to hack into a bench for my porch). So last night we bought a 'new to us' Jeep Wrangler. This thing is crazy. I swear all of it's parts come off, then you have to remember how to put them back together. It's like Mr. Potato Head in the form of a vehicle. I just hope we don't lose any of the parts! I am pretty sure my hubby is in love. It's the ultimate boy toy. He can have all the fun he wants with it because it's a stick and I don't know how to drive a stick. I'm sure I'll have a wonderfully hilarious post some day about me learning. For now, I'll be the passenger with the windblown hair that takes 10 hours to brush out. Perhaps I should fill this new vehicle with shopping bags full of hats??
Jeremy will be jealous, his fav car of all time that he has never owned! :) So fun!
ReplyDeleteIt is for sure a guy car! Graham and Nolan would probably have a blast too haha.
DeleteNow that’s more spacious than your previous car! That’d make it easier for you to put in stuff and still keep comfortable on the road. Plus, this jeep Wrangler is great for off-road challenges because it has big and tough tires that can handle rocky roads.

@Patrick: That’s the greatest advantage of getting a Jeep Wrangler. You wouldn’t think twice to go on an off-road summer road trip because you’re confident that the vehicle you’re using can swerve across any type of terrain.
