Cookies Anyone?

It was our annual ‘Cookie Baking Day’ (creative name, I know) last Saturday and we made plenty. The funny thing, I’m not a cookie gal. Cheesecake, yes please! Cookies, eh. Baking, not so much. But, ‘Cooking Baking Day’ is a day to hang with the girls in the family and have some fun. So I do my part and come up with the easiest, least amount of ingredient “cookies” to bake. This year I continued the chocolate dipped pretzel tradition because let’s face it…those are the easiest things on the planet to make. Then I made some actual cookies.

Well okay I didn’t actually make the cookies I bought the Nutter Butters and then decorated those. :) whatever, melting chocolate in the microwave counts in my book as baking.

Everyone worked hard, especially our hostess! Which I know how much work it can be to host this because I did it last year and the whole time your house seems like one giant flower/frosting disaster and for clean freaks like us that can be a challenge in itself. So, thank you Jessica!

Ronnie on the other hand, had her own schedule which included "painting" Jessica's kitchen wall and napping. :)

We ended up with enough cookies to feed my whole city or all my hubs work friends either one.

The hubs co-workers are probably starting to look forward to ‘Cookie Baking Day’ each year because 100%  of what I bring home follows him to work the following Monday because we don’t eat them at our house. We're just spreading the Christmas calories cheer.
