2. Did you know that it's impossible to remove nail polish from fabric? I found that out this week. I bought the most festive sparkly red nail polish to cheer me up from this nasty cold. Then, had the genius idea to paint my toenails in bed while watching The Vow (best movie ever) and a whole half a toenail in I got red nail polish on my WHITE duvet cover! I tried everything and it's brother to get it out and nothing worked. If you have a trick let me know and I'll owe you big time, until then don't tell my hubs. I have yet to break the news to him. Not my proudest moment this week.
3. My niece LOVED her light up hula hoops. I even gave it a shot, it's much harder than she made it look. I got schooled by a 7 year old. Oh well.
4. The hubs got me some vintage suitcases for an anniversary gift.
I've been eyeing them up for a while now to use as some decoration around the house. He's good at sticking with the traditional "year mark gifts". Year 3 is leather. I've never (in the last 3 years) stuck to the traditional gifts because 1) I can never come up with something that fits and 2) I forget to look to see what that year is until the day before. What can I say? I'm a last minute kinda gal.
5. All my new students have finally started with the last class starting this week and I must say these new kids that are able to talk are cracking me up. Today as we were about to leave the gym, another class came in and a little boy in that class rides the bus with a little boy in my class and was very animatedly trying to tell him something and my student, rolls his eyes at his friend, looks up at me and says "alright, can you get me outta here now?". Apparently he's not so fond of his new friend?
