I had the intention to write a blog post wrapping up my life in 2012 and then when I thought about it a little more I realized nothing really happened in my life in 2012. Same job, same house, same husband, same dogs, no added family members and thank heavens no lost ones either, and I survived the end of the world. So 2012 was calm. There you are, wrapped up.
Moving on to 2013.
I'm hoping something happens this year. something good.

1. Learn how to use my camera. I've had the thing nearly a year and I still have no clue what the heck I'm really doing. I make stuff up until I get a good picture, which works but as you can probably imagine, it takes a while. I usually have about 10 of the same picture with one that actually looks decent.
2. Spend more quality time with my family and friends. I will be the first to admit that I like my alone time, but none of my good memories are of me by myself so I think there is something to be said for that. And let's face it, none of us are getting any younger.
3. Take care of my car. I'm a horrible vehicle owner and it's really something I need to work on. I could stop ignoring all the flashing lights and service now signs and actually do something about it when they pop up. And possibly take it through the car wash more than once a year. maybe.
4. Get Pico to stop licking the carpet. The flippin' dog licks the floor constantly and it drives me crazy! I bet in a year I can figure out how to get him to stop.
5. Be happy with the calm. I'm always waiting for what's next, this blog was supposed to help with that. Help me be more aware of the small things, embrace the moment and share it. Well...I'm still working on that. Round 2 for this resolution.
6. Drink more water. Not that I drink other things, I don't drink pop and I hardly ever drink milk, my daily liquid intake is probably 20-25 fl oz. I've never been a big "drinker". I like my coffee in the morning and then usually drink tea during the day. I'm not a big plain water drinker, but I do love carbonated water (does that count as drinking water?). I know water is supposed to be healthy and help with losing/maintaing weight so I'm going to give it a go. And I got a new tumbler for christmas so I'm already one step ahead.
There you have it. I'm sticking with 6, maybe I can practice one each day of the week and give #4 an extra day because he needs all the help he can get.
I like #2 the best
