Well mother nature answered my request for either all or nothing and a snow storm finally hit! As a teacher snow storms are exciting because there is always the chance of a snow day and today is my lucky day! I set my alarm extra early in case I had to go in to work because I would have had to shovel before I could get out of the driveway. BUT, when my alarm went off the first thing I did was grab my phone to check for school closings and low and behold my district was on there! Wooo Hoo! I promptly texted everyone I could think of that would really not care that I have a snow day but whatever I had to share my excitement. I was almost too excited to fall back to sleep...almost. Then the pups and I enjoyed some fresh snow before I spent an hour and a half snow blowing/shoveling the back...I still have the front left (hopefully the mail man is wearing tall boots because I'm not going to get to it before he arrives). I'll leave you with some pics of our outdoor adventures that Charlie lasted all of about .05 seconds until she wanted to go inside. baby. Peek on the other hand LOVES the snow and hung out with me for the whole time. He's a trooper.
Happy Tuesday Snow Day Friends! :)
