Last Day of School!

The moment we wait for all school year and count down to...the last day of school, is finally at my fingertips. Friday is my last day and then summer vacation starts! I am not teaching summer school this year so the summer is all mine to enjoy. I've been crazy busy with the end of the year approaching and it will feel nice to be done and be able to look forward to a new year and a new beginning. I've been lacking on the blog front due to the end of the year, the nice weather, and some unexpected sewer issues. So, here are a few pictures to sum up what's been going on over at the Flaherty household.

My flowers bloomed!

Our sewer line cracked which is NOT good news. So after 3 different inspections the final consensus was to dig a HUGE hole in our front yard and repair the crack. They brought this ginormous digger, parked it in front of our house and started digging. When all was said and done we had a 7ft deep hole that was about a 9z10ft rectangle dug out of our front yard. When I had planned on doing yard work this summer that was not what I had in mind.

Part of the hole after they had filled it back in.

Then we had to lay new sod.

We saw a rainbow from the rooftop of Moto i. I need to practice photographing rainbows.

We enjoyed the nice weather at the pool and celebrated a cousin's b-day.

Floatie races!

Summer officially starts next week so I'll be back with more of my summer fun. I have lots planned on my "To Do" list. Go outside and enjoy the weather!
